Richmond Power Station supplied electricity to the city of Philadelphia throughout the 20th century. It houses what was once the world’s largest Westinghouse turbo-generator. The plant closed its doors in 1985. Since then this site has found its way to fame through its intense industrial design. Major motion picture films such as "12 Monkeys" and "Transformers 2: The Rise Of The Fallen" have been filmed inside RPS. I'm sure that won't be the end of its run. This building is just so massive pictures cannot do it justice. Stay tuned for more pics. This site is easily my favorite from my trip over last summer down to Philly.
