light splash This small round outlet was at the end of a hallway, the ceiling above was slatted, rotted, and falling apart. small amounts of light where able to leak through. this shot was exposed for 100 seconds in order to capture the extreme limited light. |

What an exceptional area of this structure. Looks like it was beautfiful at one time.

The shot has a pleasing symmetry and excellent light.

The sense of exposing it for 100 seconds is wonderful.

It has so much light! Difficult to believe that it was limited. The picture seems to be about light creeping in everywhere.

One would think this was taking on a sunny day with the 100 second exposure. I like the symmetry of the light and shadows.

Une lumière impressionnante pour ce lieu qui à subi les outrages du temps...

This is a fantastic image. It evokes a strong moody emotional response. The structure and composition is really perfect in terms of the lines and the corners. The most striking aspect to me are the streaks of light on the walls and the texture detail on the ceiling. I really have nothing constructive to add. It's beautiful and frightening, all at once.

I love how the light fills the room from above, it makes it feel very even.
